Review
Website platform, current host, email, DNS and any renewal dates.
Copy and check
Move the agreed files and database, then review the copy before switching visitors.
Switch and verify
Agree the timing, update the relevant records and check key pages, HTTPS and enquiries.
Don’t cancel the old hosting just yet.
Keep the original service and a recovery copy until the new site is checked and any remaining mail or DNS work is settled. Timing and any paid migration work are confirmed in your proposal.
